What You'll Get to Do
Every day, CRL branches serve customers across the glass, glazing, hardware & metal solutions industries. Those customers need product on time. As our Planning Manager, you will be the business owner of how inventory is positioned across our branch network. You will shape the SAP planning strategy that keeps branches stocked, customers served & inventory investment efficient. This role has real influence & visibility. You will work with Branch Operations, Procurement & Logistics, and your decisions will affect service levels across the network.
Job responsibilities include:
- Lead inventory planning & replenishment across all CRL distribution branches
- Own SAP planning parameters, including MRP settings, safety stock levels, reorder points & replenishment rules
- Design & execute branch-to-branch and warehouse-to-branch Stock Transfer Order (STO) strategies
- Spot inventory imbalances early & move stock to where demand is
- Partner with Branch Operations, Procurement & Logistics to resolve shortages & improve deployment
- Drive continuous improvement & automation of planning processes within SAP
- Contribute to SAP enhancements, system upgrades & planning projects
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years in inventory planning, replenishment, procurement or supply chain operations
- Strong working knowledge of SAP MM, MRP & STO processes
- Experience managing inventory across a multi-site distribution network
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & leadership skills
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or a related field, or 5+ years of procurement leadership experience in place of a degree
- Planning certifications (CPIM / CSCP) preferred
Position Pay Range: $95,000-$110,000 USD
