Bring machine vision solutions to life on the factory floor — from system design and camera setup to on-site commissioning for automotive and medical device clients.
About the Role
As a Machine Vision Application Engineer, you’ll be the technical bridge between OdinVision’s product platform (AVB) and our customers’ manufacturing lines — designing, deploying, and supporting vision inspection systems in real production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design machine vision solutions based on customer requirements (lighting, optics, camera selection)
- Configure and deploy inspection systems using the AVB software platform
- Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer facilities
- Work with sales and engineering teams to scope feasibility for new applications
- Provide technical training and after-sales support to customers
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Optics, or related field
- Hands-on experience with industrial cameras, lighting, and lens selection
- Familiarity with machine vision software platforms (AVB, Halcon, Cognex, or similar)
- Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning
