Apply DCS engineering expertise at OxyChem’s Thorold, Ontario chemical manufacturing plant, supporting DeltaV systems and process control. This experienced role provides 24/7 DCS support. OxyChem seeks an experienced, self-motivated DCS/Process Engineer for its Thorold operation. You will develop DCS and HMI configurations, maintain control-system infrastructure, and support process optimization. The position also applies chemical engineering principles and PVC manufacturing technology to production troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement DCS and HMI configurations Monitor, troubleshoot, and support DCS systems Maintain control-system hardware, networks, workstations, and historians Manage alarms, analyze data, and implement improvements Provide continuous DCS technical support Requirements:
University degree in Chemical Engineering At least three years of manufacturing process engineering experience Emerson DeltaV software and hardware experience preferred Knowledge of batch logic and industrial networking preferred Advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills Use DeltaV, DCS troubleshooting, and chemical engineering knowledge to support safe, reliable production at OxyChem’s Thorold plant.
