This role focuses on technical leadership, planning, and the continual improvement of electrical assets.
As an Asset Planning Engineer, you will lead the planning and design of transmission and distribution assets while driving system reliability and lifecycle management.
Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, performing load and voltage regulation analysis, and executing power flow studies.
You will assist in developing engineering standards and contribute to annual Capital and Maintenance Planning at NTPC.

- Conduct T&D plant assessments and manage CMMS database
- Develop power flow and contingency assessments
- Prepare Project Briefs and engineering documentation
- Evaluate electrical equipment and support procurement processes
- Manage capital projects from inception to completion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with five years’ experience
- Professional Engineer (P.
- Eng) designation is mandatory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electrical design software
- Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills
- Ability to pass a criminal records check
