Job Description 310T Truck Trailer Mechanic Location: Ontario Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM Overtime: As required Job Overview Nova Staffing is seeking an experienced 310T Truck Trailer Mechanic on behalf of our client to join their maintenance team. This role is based in a fully equipped repair shop and involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.
The successful candidate will have strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, a commitment to vehicle safety, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team of mechanics and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities - Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment. - Perform preventative, predictive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance. - Identify mechanical and electronic issues using inspections, road testing, and diagnostic tools. - Service and repair Hydrovac and straight-vac trucks. - Interpret work orders, technical manuals, and repair procedures. - Install, modify, repair, and replace defective parts, components, and systems. - Conduct equipment inspections and identify additional or potential maintenance requirements. - Test completed repairs to ensure equipment meets safety, manufacturer, and regulatory standards. - Assist with parts inventory and identify replacement parts and supplies as needed. - Complete wo Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
