This Powerline Technician role supports utility projects across commercial and industrial sectors. You will perform energized and de-energized line work, interpret schematics, operate specialized equipment, and document completed work. The position requires close coordination with crews and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead distribution powerlines
- Service underground distribution systems and utility infrastructure
- Inspect poles, structures, equipment, and completed line work
- Interpret plans, schematics, line diagrams, and work orders
- Document work performed and materials used accurately
Requirements:
- Technical skills in powerline construction, maintenance, and repair
- Experience following utility safety standards and PPE requirements
- Ability to operate line trucks and bucket trucks
- Powerline Technician certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license; Class 3 with air brakes preferred
