As a Replenishment Analyst, you will coordinate purchasing, demand forecasting, and order fulfilment across food and basic general merchandise. The role works with Category Management, Distribution, Transportation, Retail Operations, Merchandising, vendors, and warehouses. You will balance service targets, inventory investment, gross margin, freight costs, and obsolescence while supporting seasonal shipping programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate purchasing and replenishment activities across Canadian warehouses
- Monitor purchase orders, shipments, shortages, and delayed deliveries
- Make purchasing decisions using forecasts, lead times, and seasonal requirements
- Resolve stockouts, excess inventory, and shelf-life risks
- Maintain forecasts, vendor parameters, and replenishment system data
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Substantial buying or replenishment experience in high-volume environments
- Knowledge of forecasting, safety stock, turnover, and obsolescence
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organization skills
