Provide clinical pharmacy services at Northumberland Hills Hospital as a temporary, part-time Pharmacist supporting acute, emergency, and post-acute care.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Pharmacist performs clinical and distributive functions throughout NHH. The position includes drug therapy review, medication distribution, interdisciplinary consultation, and patient education. Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and monitor drug therapy across hospital care areas
- Distribute and support safe, timely medication administration
- Provide drug information and answer pharmacy consultations
- Assist with adverse drug event and medication error follow-up
- Support interdisciplinary education, rounds, and on-call services
Requirements:
- Current Part A registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- B.Sc Phm required; PharmD or residency preferred
- Strong clinical, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Two to three years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector check and health review completion
