This Maintenance Personnel position supports safe, functional residences and equipment through hands-on upkeep. The work includes light carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, equipment maintenance, landscaping, and tenant communication. You will investigate deficiencies, prepare units for occupancy, and protect residents' confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance for residences and equipment
- Perform minor building, electrical, plumbing, and equipment repairs
- Investigate deficiencies and equipment malfunctions, taking corrective action
- Maintain furniture, fixtures, systems, landscaping, and residence appearance
- Prepare units for occupancy and communicate effectively with tenants
Requirements:
- Experience as a maintenance worker
- Skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and landscaping
- Ability to multitask with strong organization and time management
- Fire equipment knowledge and emergency response availability
- Valid provincial driver's license and access to a vehicle
