Northern Strands is seeking a Rigger/Warehouse Labourer for manufacturing work at its Regina office and shop. The position focuses on wire rope slings, chain rigging assemblies, and spooling rope. It also includes shipping, receiving, inventory, equipment operation, and customer order support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build wire rope slings and rigging assemblies
- Build chain rigging assemblies and fill chain orders
- Reel rope for customer orders
- Prepare shipments and load or unload goods
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, or related equipment
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Two years manufacturing experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to safely lift and handle heavy loads
