This Maintenance Millwright reports to the Maintenance Manager at North West Rubber Ltd. The position supports construction, installation, repair, and maintenance in manufacturing. Duties include troubleshooting, welding, fabricating, equipment repairs, servicing documentation, and parts inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist plant equipment construction and installation
- Repair and maintain plant equipment, systems, and buildings
- Troubleshoot issues and solve equipment problems
- Perform welding, fabricating, and basic vehicle repairs
- Record servicing and maintain necessary parts inventory
Requirements:
- Verified Red Seal Millwright certification
- Minimum two to five years manufacturing experience
- Advanced mechanical abilities and welding experience helpful
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Availability for 24/7 shift work and physical labor
