Senior Therapeutic Radiographer - Peterborough | North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust
Be part of a dedicated team delivering highly specialised clinical and technical radiotherapy services, committed to total patient care.
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled radiographer to provide specialist care to patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment. You’ll be at the forefront of patient-centred care, collaborating closely with Band 7 colleagues to critically evaluate and deliver optimal treatment plans. This is a dynamic role requiring advanced knowledge, precision, and commitment to excellence.
Your contributions will not only help maximise patient throughput but also enhance the safety and precision of radiotherapy treatments. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in oncology care, join us to bring expert knowledge, sensitivity and empathy to the forefront of patient support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient-Centric Care: Engage directly with patients and their carers, offering vital support and information while ensuring a high standard of care.
- Collaborative Excellence: Work alongside clinical oncologists, physicists, radiographers, and clerical staff, contributing your expertise to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Operational Leadership: In the Band 7’s absence, manage the treatment unit independently, consulting with the Clinical Operations Manager as needed to maintain a safe, effective operation.
- Professional Accountability: Uphold the highest standards of practice as outlined by the Society of Radiographers Professional Code of Conduct.
Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust’s redeployment process.
