North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist. You will assess, diagnose, and manage complex diabetic foot disease, including ulceration, infection, Charcot neuroarthropathy, and vascular compromise. The post spans acute, outpatient, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex diabetic high-risk foot caseloads autonomously
- Assess and treat acute and chronic foot wounds
- Deliver advanced wound management, debridement, and high-risk care
- Coordinate Multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot Team activity
- Provide emergency referrals and responsive specialist care
Requirements:
- Experience as a Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist
- Expertise in complex diabetic foot disease management
- Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement
- Ability to educate, mentor, and supervise colleagues and students
