QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification/Experience/Knowledge:
- Registered nurse, registered practical nurse, respiratory therapist or certified with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists is required.
- Recent experience (within 2-3 years) performing Electrocardiograms (ECGs), exercise stress tests and Holter Monitor applications and scanning required.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is an asset.
- Certified to perform Electroencephalograms (EEGs) is an asset.
- Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) required.
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be a good team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Basic computer skills required (Meditech, Outlook).
- Good attendance and work record required.
- Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors.
- Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization.
- Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required. All unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the identified French requirement has been met or there are no successful bilingual candidates. A formal French test will be conducted to evaluate the proficiency level.
