Operate case-packing equipment as a Temporary Day Cash Collector with Nortera, using visual attention and equipment adjustment skills. Work Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This temporary Labeling department position supports production for Nortera, North America's ready-to-cook vegetable reference. You will maintain case-packer operation, verify packaged canned-goods quantities, and identify production codes and dates. The work supports Nortera products and brands, including Arctic Gardens and Del Monte.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust equipment and complete independent line maintenance tours
- Report anomalies or problems to supervisors and mechanics
- Install plastic packaging rolls and supply packing boxes
- Verify canned-goods quantities, codes, dates, and packaging
- Remove unlabeled, damaged, or poorly packaged cans and cases
Requirements:
- Read, write, count, and demonstrate good visual ability
- Communicate easily and work effectively within a team
- Maintain equipment cadence while working effectively under pressure
- Have good physical condition and lift 52-pound loads
