Lead industrial structural design and analysis with Norda Stelo in Vancouver, supporting steel, concrete, and heavy industrial projects across Western Canada. This Intermediate / Senior Structural Engineer role supports industrial and heavy industrial projects across the Lower Mainland and Western Canada. You will contribute technical leadership, independently manage small to intermediate-size projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Work spans design, investigations, construction, modifications, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design and analysis for industrial steel and concrete structures
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, coordination, and deliverables
- Conduct site visits, inspections, assessments, and investigations
- Review structures and recommend repairs, modifications, strengthening, or upgrades
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer designation in British Columbia
- Approximately eight or more years of relevant experience
- Industrial structural design and seismic design experience
- Knowledge of NBCC Part 4, CSA S16, and CSA A23.3
- Bring structural steel, reinforced concrete, project management, and technical leadership experience to Norda Stelo’s Vancouver engineering team.
