Lead industrial structural design and analysis with Norda Stelo in Vancouver, supporting steel, concrete, and heavy industrial projects across Western Canada. This Intermediate / Senior Structural Engineer contributes technical leadership within Vancouver-based and multidisciplinary teams. The work spans industrial structures, project management, site investigations, construction support, modifications, and operational phases. You will support clients while managing small to intermediate-size engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze industrial steel and concrete structures
- Lead technical work and guide engineers and designers
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, coordination, and deliverables
- Perform site visits, inspections, assessments, and investigations
- Review structures and recommend repairs, modifications, strengthening, or upgrades
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer designation in British Columbia
- Approximately eight or more years of relevant experience
- Industrial structural design and reinforced concrete experience
- Knowledge of Canadian codes, seismic design, and analysis software
