Nöord Technologies is recruiting a Senior Lead Business Analyst for its client, a large organization. The project involves replacing an existing legacy ERP system with a modern technological platform (front-end Angular/TypeScript, back-end .NET Core, SQL Server).
Context and Challenge of the Assignment
The bottleneck of the program lies in the documentation and extraction of business requirements: business knowledge is largely buried in the code and databases of the current system, with limited availability of business experts. The traditional approach (long interviews, recurring workshops, manual writing) does not support the pace of deliveries; this assignment aims to establish a rapid, autonomous business analysis approach accelerated by generative AI. The role of the analyst will be to reconstruct business rules from the existing system to only solicit business experts for validating deliverables, not for discovering them.
Responsibilities
- Definition of MVP & Wave Planning: Define and argue the scope of the MVP to accelerate the delivery of business value.
- Structuring an Executable Analysis Plan: Structure an executable analysis plan over a 3-month horizon (sequencing, dependencies, WBS breakdown).
- Production of Analysis Deliverables: Produce requirement documents (BRD), inventories, business rules, and high-level acceptance criteria.
- Generative AI-Assisted Reverse Engineering: Analyze the code, data model, and screens of the existing system using AI assistants (Claude, Copilot, etc.) to extract business rules.
- Facilitating Short, Targeted Business Validation Sessions: Animate short, targeted, and decision-making business validation sessions based on a first draft already written.
- Guidance of Functional Analysts (FA): Guide FAs on the sequence of deliverables to be produced in line with the delivery plan.
- Sharing Practices and Methods of AI-Assisted Analysis: Share your practices and methods of AI-assisted analysis (prompts, extraction templates, safeguards).
Profile Required (Qualification Requirements)
- Mandatory Criteria (Must Have):
- Experience: 8 years or more in IT business analysis, including experience as a Senior or Lead on redesign or replacement projects of systems.
- Autonomy in Production: Demonstrated ability to independently write a complete and defensible BRD.
- Technical Reverse Engineering: Ability to read source code and data schemas (SQL, object/procedural language) without being a developer, in order to extract business rules.
- Operational Use of Generative AI: Daily use of AI tools (Claude, Copilot or equivalent) for reading code, extracting rules, and structuring deliverables.
- Modeling & Writing: Mastery of writing requirements (BRD), process modeling (BPMN), and data modeling (MCD/MLD).
- Framing & Breakdown Capability: Experience in defining MVP, wave planning, and structuring WBS.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to challenge the existing to distinguish between a legitimate business rule and an obsolete technical constraint.
- Agility and Influential Leadership: Mastery of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and ability to guide peers without direct hierarchical authority.
- Languages: Fluent French (oral and written) and functional English (reading documentation).
- Experience in replacing an ERP or critical management system.
- Knowledge of the agri-food, cooperative, supply management, or financial sectors.
- Knowledge of modern environments (Angular, .NET Core, SQL Server).
- Experience in creating and industrializing a library of prompts and AI templates.
- Certifications in business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA).
