This General Maintenance position is based in Churchill Falls and focuses on semi-skilled and labour tasks. You will operate, repair, and adjust equipment while assisting trade workers. Responsibilities also include landscaping, industrial painting, scaffolding, and asbestos abatement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and make minor equipment repairs and adjustments
- Perform cleaning, landscaping, loading, and off-loading
- Complete industrial painting, garbage removal, and snow removal
- Assist trade workers with semi-skilled and labour tasks
- Operate mobile equipment and erect scaffolding as required
Requirements:
- High School graduation and semi-skilled task capability
- Certified scaffolding course completion
- Confined Space course completion
- Elevated work platform and aerial bucket training
- Valid appropriate driver's licence with required classes and endorsement
