Liferay Lead Solution Architect in Winnipeg

We are seeking an experienced Liferay Lead Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale digital experience solutions built on Liferay DXP. This role combines architecture leadership, hands-on technical expertise, client engagement, pre-sales support, and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design
  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Liferay DXP 7.4+ and latest quarterly releases.
  • Define end-to-end solution architecture including:

  • Self-Service Platforms
  • B2B Commerce Solutions
  • Create and review:
  • High-Level Designs (HLD)
  • Low-Level Designs (LLD)

  • Lead modernization initiatives:
  • Legacy Portal to Liferay DXP
  • Monolithic Applications to Microservices
  • Traditional Portlets to Headless Architectures
  • Conduct architecture reviews and establish development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree is considered an asset.
  • Experience: 10+ years of software development experience, 6+ years of Liferay experience, 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture roles. Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale implementations.
• Technical Skills
  • Mandatory: Liferay DXP 7.x / 7.4+, Java, Spring Framework, OSGi, REST APIs, GraphQL, React or Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Databases, Git.
  • Preferred: Liferay Commerce, Liferay Objects, Client Extensions, AWS Solutions Architecture, Azure Architecture, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Terraform, AI Integrations.
