Deliver orthopaedic and spinal nursing care at The London Clinic in London, using clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Work 37.5 hours weekly on rotating shifts.
As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will care for patients undergoing planned and complex surgery. Your practice will span admission, preparation, recovery, rehabilitation, and discharge. The role requires current NMC registration, orthopaedic or spinal nursing experience, and collaborative multidisciplinary working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to orthopaedic and spinal patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care
- Monitor recovery and respond to changing patient conditions
- Recognise deterioration and respond effectively to clinical emergencies
- Administer medications safely according to NMC guidelines
Requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- Experience within orthopaedic or spinal nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to recognise and respond to deteriorating patients
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisation skills
