We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling Data Exchange Consultant to deliver Health Check assessments for complex enterprise B2B integration environments. The successful candidate will lead technical discovery sessions, perform architecture and performance assessments, identify operational risks and bottlenecks, review system configurations and best practices, and provide strategic recommendations to improve stability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.Responsibilities include conducting stakeholder workshops, analyzing Sterling platform deployments, reviewing code and product assets, evaluating infrastructure and application configurations, monitoring system performance, developing detailed Health Check reports, and presenting findings and remediation recommendations to client leadership and technical teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with IBM Sterling Data Exchange solutions
- Hands-on expertise with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi), Sterling File Gateway (SFG), Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), Connect:Direct Manager (CM), Control Center (CC), and Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS)
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
- Experience conducting health checks, technical assessments, and operational reviews in production environments
- Ability to identify architecture, configuration, compatibility, and technology stack gaps
- Experience analyzing code, business processes, and system-level bottlenecks
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and report-writing skills
- Excellent presentation and client-facing communication abilities
- Ability to develop actionable remediation roadmaps and best practice recommendations
