New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a client in enhancing and modernizing an enterprise Financial Planning and Analytics web application. This role requires a strong hands-on developer with experience in solution architecture, enterprise application development, system integration, and infrastructure migration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise web applications using React, Node.js, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, and SQL Server.
- Complete the implementation of a standalone financial planning application, incorporating user feedback and functional enhancements.
- Evaluate existing application architecture and recommend improvements to scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot IIS environments to support secure and reliable application access.
- Develop automated API testing frameworks and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and maintain integrations with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) reporting solutions.
- Provide production application support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
- Lead technical planning and execution of application and server infrastructure migrations, including dependency assessments, testing, cutover, and rollback planning.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to gather requirements, demonstrate enhancements, and support continuous improvement.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies, including .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Web API, and SQL Server.
- Advanced SQL Server expertise, including T-SQL, stored procedures, database design, data modelling, performance tuning, and ETL processes.
- Experience designing, configuring, securing, and administering IIS environments.
- Experience implementing DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, API testing, and release management.
- Experience with enterprise application architecture, performance optimization, and system integration.
- Experience planning and executing application or server infrastructure migrations.
- Understanding of Power BI governance, including workspace management, deployment pipelines, row-level security, and data access controls.
- Experience with data quality, reconciliation, security models, and reporting integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams in an agile environment.
- Experience in healthcare or other complex enterprise environments would be an asset.
- Candidates must be available to work during regular Pacific Time business hours and attend onsite meetings in the Greater Vancouver area as required.
