Operate mill processing circuits at Coeur Mining's Rainy River mine in Ontario, using mechanical aptitude and process control skills. Work a 14/14 rotation with day and night shifts.
This experienced Mill Operator reports to the Mill Supervisor at Rainy River, an open pit and underground gold and silver mine. You will monitor equipment, respond to operational issues, and support consistent production. The work covers Crushing, Grinding, Leaching/Elution, Reagents, Detox, Tailings, and the Control Room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned processing plant circuits safely and efficiently
- Monitor equipment and operating conditions across mill circuits
- Inspect circuits and address operational issues promptly
- Report unsafe conditions immediately to the Mill Supervisor
- Maintain clean, safe, orderly work areas
Requirements:
- Five or more years in a milling environment
- Experience operating Grinding, Leaching, Reagents, CND, and Tailings
- Knowledge of DeltaV or comparable process control systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work 12-hour 14-days-on, 14-days-off shifts
