This full-time position supports diamond drilling and exploration activities at a remote field site. You will log drill core, prepare reports, manage geological data, and support field investigations. The position suits candidates with a Geology or Environmental Sciences degree and one to three years of preferred core logging experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Log diamond drill core and prepare related reports
- Visit diamond drills and perform field activities
- Direct field crews and diamond drilling contractors
- Conduct surficial mapping, sampling, and geological investigations
- Manage GIS, Leapfrog, and field activity data
Requirements:
- Geology or Environmental Sciences degree
- One to three years of preferred core logging experience
- Mine site or exploration environment experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to work remotely on rugged, uneven terrain
