Perform laboratory analysis for Nestlé Canada Ice Cream in London, Ontario, applying microbiological testing and quality assurance procedures. Shift rotation and weekend work may be required.
As a Laboratory Technician reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will support the London Ice Cream Plant. The work includes physical, chemical, and microbiological testing, result documentation, records review, and product quality decisions. Your analyses help maintain safe, quality products for consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory analysis and quality assurance duties
- Analyze samples through micro plating and chemical testing
- Document results in SAP and organize test records
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment
- Coordinate corrective actions and communicate results across departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or college diploma in a related field
- Relevant laboratory environment experience
- Experience performing physical, chemical, and microbiological testing
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office skills; SAP knowledge is an asset
