The Early Childhood Educator – Infant Toddler Educator reports to the Education Director and Daycare Manager. You will plan, implement, and evaluate activities aligned with the centre's philosophy. The position includes daily routines, family communication, records, cultural programming, and responsive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and high-quality care for infants and toddlers
- Plan and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities
- Lead outdoor play, circle time, naps, and field trips
- Incorporate Shuswap culture and language into programming
- Maintain child files, health records, and emergency cards
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Early Childhood Educator Certificate
- Infant Toddler Educator Certificate
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
