Brex’s Identity and Access Management team owns login methods, step-up authentication, custom authorization, delegated access, and vendor integrations. As a Staff Engineer, you will lead initiatives improving security, reliability, and developer experience across identity platforms. You will work with engineers across Brex while shaping technical quality and platform evolution. Key Responsibilities:
Design backend systems and APIs for authentication and authorization Lead projects from technical design through operational support Improve SSO, MFA, delegated access, and enterprise identity flows Build authorization supporting custom roles and resource-aware controls Mentor engineers and improve system reliability and maintainability Requirements:
