The position includes medication counting, measuring, labeling, packaging, shipment receiving, stock rotation, and inventory audits. Key Responsibilities:
- Count, measure, and package medications under established protocols
- Assist with prescription entry, labeling, and packaging
- Receive supplies and medication shipments
- Rotate stock and support inventory audits
- Maintain clean, organized pharmacy areas and dispose waste safely
Requirements:
- Pharmacy assistant program completion is preferred
- Pharmacy experience is an asset; training provided
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand long periods and lift boxes occasionally
