Ndax, located in Calgary, Alberta, is a regulated cryptocurrency trading platform seeking a seasoned vCISO. This role will empower you to lead our security team, manage compliance with Canadian regulations, and drive improvements in our security posture. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the protection of our digital platform and the assets under our custody.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor our internal security team
- Own the information security strategy and roadmap
- Assess security posture and identify risks
- Build and maintain security policies and standards
- Guide cloud and trading platform security
Requirements:
- 10+ years in information security, with 5+ years as CISO or vCISO
- Experience in regulated financial services and fintech
- Knowledge of Canadian regulations (CIRO, FINTRAC)
- Hands-on SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit experience
- Proficient in developing incident response programs
