Support simulation training at NAV CANADA's Vancouver ACC using technical systems, courseware, and simulator tools onsite. English is required for this two-year term.
As an Operational Training Specialist, you will develop, implement, maintain, and support simulation components for training programs. The work includes pseudo pilot delivery, Voice Recognition support, simulator maintenance, and national subject matter expertise. You will contribute to procedures, refresher programs, End User Projects, and simulation system changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance simulation exercises, databases, and documentation
- Support simulation training activities and pseudo pilot delivery
- Prepare simulator data files for local training units
- Troubleshoot simulation tools and coordinate higher-level support
- Train stakeholders on simulation tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Successful completion of secondary school
- Experience using technical systems for work tasks
- Experience in learner-focused environments
- Knowledge of aircraft characteristics, pilot behaviors, and airspace
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
