Coordinate afternoon fleet dispatch in Leamington with Nature Fresh Farms, using transportation systems and strong communication to keep produce moving.
This full-time, permanent Fleet Coordinator position supports Shipping and Receiving operations. You will schedule appointments, assign trailers and dock doors, monitor arrivals, and maintain shipment records across NAV, TMS, Smartsheet, and related systems. The role connects internal departments, growers, carriers, drivers, and logistics personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize local pickups, deliveries, transfers, and afternoon dispatch activities
- Schedule receiving appointments around priorities, docks, and transportation schedules
- Assign truck movements, trailers, bay doors, and dock locations
- Monitor arrivals, loading, unloading, departures, and operational delays
- Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate transportation records
Requirements:
- Experience in a produce warehouse setting is positive
- Familiarity with GPS tracking software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, NAV, WMS, and TMS
- Strong troubleshooting, strategic planning, and communication abilities
- Availability six days weekly from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM
