This regular full-time Communications Specialist supports the Civic Engagement and Communications Division. Reporting to the Manager of Communications, you will serve strategic and annual plans, operational issues, campaigns, events, and public initiatives. The position requires communications planning, writing, relationship building, and issue management for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communications strategies for City initiatives
- Advise campaigns, events, and emerging operational issues
- Create public-facing releases, presentations, and digital content

Requirements:
- Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related discipline
