The family enjoys spending time together, travelling, and getting out for activities. Their household is relaxed and welcoming, but they value routines and consistency for their younger children. They maintain a screen-free environment around the children and prioritize healthy meals and snacks. They are looking for someone dependable, loving, communicative, and proactive who can confidently take ownership of the household while also stepping in to care for the younger children when needed.
Housekeeping Responsibilities – Approximately 70%: The successful candidate should be comfortable managing the full cleaning needs of a family home, including:
- General and detailed household cleaning
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- Family laundry, folding, and putting clothing away
- Changing and laundering linens
- Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas clean and organized
- Tidying and household organization
- Meal preparation and/or assistance with family meals
- Keeping household supplies organized and letting the family know when items need replenishing
- Taking initiative to identify what needs to be done throughout the home
The family is particularly interested in someone who can work independently and doesn't need to be given a list of tasks each day.
Childcare Responsibilities – Approximately 30%: Mom is looking for someone she can confidently rely on to care for the children when she has appointments, needs to step out, or requires an extra set of hands. Childcare responsibilities may include:
