Advise Wajax on securities disclosure and corporate governance from its Toronto head office through a hybrid work arrangement. Support public company matters directly for the Chief Legal Officer. As Senior Corporate Counsel, you will advise Wajax’s business and functional teams on public company requirements. Your work includes securities disclosure, regulatory matters, corporate governance, ESG reporting, and corporate secretarial support. You will also contribute to strategic transactions, compliance, and general corporate matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage securities disclosure and regulatory requirements
- Advise on corporate governance and ESG reporting
- Support quarterly board meetings and the AGM
- Assist strategic transactions and special projects
- Support compliance and general corporate matters
Requirements:
- At least eight years advising publicly listed companies
- Significant securities disclosure and governance experience
- Top-tier firm or publicly listed company experience
- Corporate secretarial experience; M&A experience is an asset
- Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Bring strategic judgment, business acumen, and corporate securities expertise to Wajax’s public company legal team in Toronto.
