- Our Professional Services and Consulting Client is seeking an experienced
Information Architect to support retail and e Commerce initiatives, focusing on product information architecture, data modelling, taxonomy design, and data governance.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable information structures that improve product data quality, consistency, and usability across digital commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain product taxonomies, classification hierarchies, and attribute schemas .
- Develop logical data models and information architecture frameworks supporting retail and e Commerce operations.
- Support
- Product Information Management (PIM) and
Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
- Define data standards, governance practices, and information management best practices.
- Collaborate with business, merchandising, and technical teams to translate requirements into effective data structures.
- Support data mapping, integration, and migration activities across enterprise platforms.
- Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Information Architecture, Data Architecture, or related disciplines.
Experience in retail, e Commerce, or product data management environments.
- Strong expertise in taxonomy design, data modelling, attribute management, and data governance .
- Familiarity with PIM/MDM platforms such as
Syndigo, Stibo Systems, Informatica, or similar solutions .
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
