Serve Barrie clients as an Insurance Advisor with Desjardins, using customer service and communication skills across multiple channels. This is a full time position.
As a Desjardins Agent team member, you will support clients with insurance needs through inbound and outbound calls and digital channels. You will recommend tailored solutions, explain products, and help clients protect their families. The role also includes sales, problem solving, appointment scheduling, and addressing policy questions. Training will be provided for approved candidates, while a Property and Casualty license is preferred or must be obtainable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on Desjardins insurance products and solutions
- Deliver accurate inbound and outbound insurance advice and service
- Address customer concerns and escalate matters appropriately
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs
- Respond to coverage, claims, billing, and policy inquiries
Requirements:
- Preferred sales experience in retail, inside, outside, or telemarketing
- Preferred record of meeting sales goals or quotas
- Excellent written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving and ability to multitask
- Property and Casualty license preferred or obtainable
