Lead onsite construction management for Metrolinx GO Expansion, using health and safety, quality, work planning, and site observation expertise. Travel across GTHA project sites on rotating shifts. As Construction Management Field Manager, you will support Delivery Teams, Contractors, and Corridor Leads across stations and civil projects. You will oversee safe construction delivery while monitoring progress, risks, constraints, and contingencies. Your work will strengthen best-practice construction management throughout the GO Expansion program. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Health and Safety as a safety role model Walk sites, evaluate designs, and review drawings and specifications Identify deficiencies, non-conformances, and required contract documentation Monitor construction progress, risks, costs, penalties, and delays Represent field construction management in stakeholder meetings Requirements:
Degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, planning, architecture, or related field Construction management experience on infrastructure or transportation projects Experience with contracts administration, fieldwork, and construction inspections Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence and good driving record Availability for rotating evenings, nights, weekends, and site travel Apply construction management, safety, quality, and site inspection expertise to Metrolinx’s expanding transit infrastructure program.
