This full-time Police Cadet Recruit assignment supports general police duties within Strathroy-Caradoc. You will answer calls for service, prevent crime, enforce Federal and Provincial Statutes, and apply Municipal By-Laws. Duties include patrol operations, occurrence reporting, equipment checks, court preparation, and community visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer calls for service within assigned patrol areas
- Protect life and property through general police duties
- Enforce Federal, Provincial, and Municipal requirements
- Complete occurrence reports before leaving duty
- Attend court prepared and brief witnesses
Requirements:
- Driver's Licence
- First Aid certification
- Availability for rotating Monday-to-Sunday schedules
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Adherence to Police Service procedures
