Join Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America as an Expeditor on a 12-month contract. This role requires precision, communication skills, and effective supplier management in a dynamic automotive environment.
As an Expeditor, you will collaborate closely with Purchasing and Logistics teams to manage assigned suppliers effectively. Your attention to detail will ensure demand requirements are met promptly, while your analytical skills will support inventory and trade compliance processes. Previous experience in manufacturing, paired with MRP/ERP knowledge, is highly desirable for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments efficiently
- Issue EDI Demand Schedules and gather delivery confirmations
- Analyze supplier demand shifts and delivery confirmations
- Maintain shipping documentation for import/export activities
- Monitor inventory levels and escalate issues as needed
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- 0 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
