You will produce small to large parts, assemble finished products, and collaborate with design engineers on optimized requirements. The role requires drawing interpretation, tolerance measurement, and safe machining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine various parts on CNC lathes and mills
- Operate manual machines as instructed
- Read drawings and machine safely and proficiently
- Measure and qualify work against drawing tolerances
- Follow project leader direction on large projects
Requirements:
- Journeyman Red Seal or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work within a group environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fanuc and Mazak controller knowledge is an asset
