Job Description The Associate Director is a leader who is responsible for the performance and management of an operations team and client relationships. This personmanages and supports day to day operations to ensure service level agreements are met and quality is maintained. As a manager of people, this personhas to be an effective leader and team builder to help foster healthy culture and staff development.
This role requires extensive technical knowledge of
loan operations, documentation, and accounting.
This person is the last line of review for sensitivedeliverables and is often a source of knowledge and escalation point for internal matters. Possessing extensive technical ability and outstanding attentionto detail imperative to supporting the team while ensuring quality.
The Associate Director is a well-rounded professional with strong commercial acumen and communication skills. This client facing role will involvesignificant communication with external parties, including prospective clients, and representing our brand. Additionally, the AD will respond to any clientescalations from the operations team and navigate to a resolution. This role is critical to delivering the high level of service and satisfaction MUFG isknown for in the industry.
Manage daily operations to ensure SLAs are met in an efficient manner
Perform reviews on setups and credit agreements, or any other deliverables, for the operations team
Manage client relationships and be a point of escalation
Manage ad-hoc client requests to ensure completion
Be a leader in efficiency changes, embrace any technology updates and strive for continuous better working practices
Strategic Goals
Champion quality and continuous improvement
Participate in new service development and support new service rollouts
Participate in and manage projects to enhance the overall service offering
Budgeting and Reporting
Support and uphold a culture of control and compliance with company policy
Collaboration with internal operations groups, across multiple departments, to drive results Management of personnel, including ongoing feedback, performance management, and recruitment
Qualifications
University or College business degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
Minimum 5 years’ working experience in fund administration or relevant financial services in private credit
Relevant designation in accounting, finance, or management is an asset
