Apollo Applied Research is expanding its team of physicians licensed in Alberta and/or New Brunswick to join our virtual medical clinic. Emphasizing patient care, this role involves educating patients on cannabis treatment, monitoring dosages, and providing follow-up consultations. Flexibility in work hours and full administrative support are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations for patients needing medical cannabis prescriptions
- Educate patients about cannabis as a therapeutic option
- Monitor patient response to prescribed dosages and cannabinoids
- Provide follow-up support and advice when necessary
- Complete other assigned duties to enhance patient care
Requirements:
- Medical degree with registration in good standing
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Organized with strong time management abilities
- Knowledge in pain management or mental health preferred
- Experience with veterans and medical cannabis is an asset
