We are currently supporting a growing and highly respected organization within the industrial and manufacturing sector as they look to hire a Machinist / Account Manager for their Guelph team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on machining or manufacturing experience who is looking to transition into a customer-facing technical sales role. Our client is open to training the right individual on the sales side. What Will You Do?
- Manage and grow an existing customer base within the assigned territory
- Develop new business opportunities within manufacturing and machining environments
- Build strong relationships with customers through technical expertise and responsive service
- Conduct needs analyses and recommend cost-effective technical solutions
- Provide technical product support and troubleshooting assistance
- Collaborate with manufacturers and customers to evaluate products and applications
- Travel within the Guelph and surrounding territory to meet with customers
What Do You Bring?
- Hands-on machining experience or background within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of cutting tools, metalworking, CNC machining, or industrial tooling is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
