Mt. Ascutney Hospital is seeking a full-time physical therapist to join our dynamic team of skilled clinicians in the Inpatient Rehabilitation department. The PT will be one of two primary therapists for the acute/swing unit and float to the acute rehab unit as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluations and patient-centered treatment for hospitalized people with a variety of diagnoses
- Maintaining appropriate electronic medical records
- Working cooperatively with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care
Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) offers a clinical ladder program recognizing expertise and providing opportunities for advancement, with associated compensation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of PT. May be a new graduate or an experienced therapist.
- Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Current licensure in the State of Vermont.
- BLS certification required.
