Lead integrated LRT systems through SCADA expertise, technical diagnostics, and controlled change management across operational environments. This work supports reliable service. The Systems Lead provides technical leadership across supervisory control, communications, networks, passenger-facing systems, and cross-discipline interfaces. You will connect operations, maintainers, IT and cybersecurity, engineering, suppliers, and subcontractors. The position supports system availability, maintainability, documentation, and controlled technical change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as subject-matter expert for assigned integrated operational systems
- Provide field and bench troubleshooting for complex system faults
- Review alarms, logs, configurations, work orders, and performance data
- Lead root-cause analyses and corrective-action follow-up
- Develop procedures, test protocols, and recovery plans
Requirements:
- Diploma in electrical, electronics, communications, controls, computer systems, or related technology
- Five or more years supporting integrated rail, transit, industrial control, or operational technology systems
- Experience with SCADA, networks, communications, diagnostics, and system integration preferred
- Strong understanding of availability, controlled change, documentation, and cybersecurity-aware practices
- OACETT, P.Eng., EIT, or applicable IT/OT certifications preferred or valued
