Windsor Salt is hiring a temporary Maintenance Labourer for medical-leave coverage. You will assist Millwrights and Electricians while supporting equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with safety, environmental, and food-safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Millwrights and Electricians with maintenance tasks and repairs
- Repair pumps, motors, blowers, and plant equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and process disruptions
- Complete preventative maintenance on fixed and mobile equipment
- Maintain HVAC, fire protection, storeroom, yard, and facility areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Understanding of industrial processes and production equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms and wear required PPE
