Key Accountabilities
- Support the development and review of I&C designs for nuclear plant systems and modifications.
- Prepare technical specifications, calculations, drawings and engineering documentation.
- Review schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic and instrumentation documents.
- Assist with equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, project and site teams.
- Provide technical support throughout the design and project lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and help resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years I&C engineering or design experience, preferably within the nuclear industry.
- DE and DTL qualifications will be an asset.
- Familiarity with nuclear engineering processes, design documentation and plant-modification requirements.
- Strong analytical, technical writing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
