Electrical mechanics troubleshoot electric motors and electro-mechanical equipment through testing, repair, and on-site servicing. This is an on-site position in a noisy maintenance environment.
The Electrical Mechanic role requires one to less than two years of experience and French language ability. Work includes reading blueprints, testing electrical and mechanical conditions, and repairing equipment. The position focuses on maintenance, repair, testing, machine setup, and electric motors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints to determine electrical and mechanical work requirements
- Test electrical and mechanical equipment conditions
- Troubleshoot and repair electric motors and transformers
- Service and repair equipment at customer or work sites
- Test repaired electrical apparatus for proper performance
Requirements:
- French language ability
- One to less than two years of experience
- One- to two-year college or CEGEP certificate or diploma
- Pneumatic instrument experience
- Criminal record check
