Assemble skid components at Scott Springfield by Modine in Calgary while reading blueprints and using hand and power tools. This daytime position runs Monday through Friday.
The Skid Completion Worker joins SSM's Production team at the 7007 84 St SE location. The work includes basic welding, assembly, painting, insulation, and quality inspection. You will read drawings and specifications, work with the Lead Hand, and follow safe operating procedures. The schedule is 6:00am to 2:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble skid components according to design specifications
- Perform basic welding and assembly tasks
- Inspect components and processes against quality standards
- Paint and insulate skid bases
- Use drills, grinders, and other power tools
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Ability to read measuring tape accurately
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Welding or painting experience is an asset
- Ability to work safely and independently
